6 Tips to Fully Relaxing Your Body for Sex
Tip Number One
Take a Luxurious Bath
Really go into creating a special, luxurious experience for yourself. A luxurious bath could mean bubbles, champagne, music, chocolate, incense, tinctures, positions, candles, a book.
Go all out to make it a bath to completely spoil yourself in order to get your body ready for your sensuous evening.
Tip Number Two
Do Your Meditative Activity
It’s so important to get yourself in a different frame of mind. You want to stir up your creative energy here, aka sexual energy. For everyone this is different.
Make sure you choose something that really takes you out of your head and into your body. It may be a walk, digging in the garden, meditating, yoga, swimming, cooking.
Do it alone, for at least 15 minutes, whatever you choose and be as mindful and present as you possibly can.
Tip Number Three
Dance Wildly for 5 minutes
This is one of my favorites. It gets me out of my head and into my body.
There is no prescribed dance, it’s a wild dance of any form your body feels like expressing.
Choose music that gets you going and lets your body really move into it. Don’t hold back, let yourself go with the music. Give your body the power to express itself, fully enjoying the movement and the freedom.
Tip Number Four
Jump on Your Bed Like a Kid
Drop into your innocence, your silliness, your girlishness, your playfulness. Do this exercise for 10 minutes, maybe you jump for a bit, throw pillows, mess up the bed, squirm around on the bed. Let your body be free in it’s movement around the bed.
This is a beautiful exercise to get you present and having fun.
By doing something unusual, like bed jumping, something really playful, it will assist in getting you out of the logical, linear world. This will help you drop into your body and your sweet sensuality.
Tip Number Five
Chant this Mantra
I love mantras! I use them all the time to get me focused on my purpose in the moment. Here are some words you can chant to get you in the mood and help you surrender more to your sexual experience.
Say the words slowly with feeling, over and over again.
“I love sex. I love sex. I love sex.
My body opens to a sexual experience.
Sex is a wonderful and beautiful way I express myself.
Sex is so good for me and my body.
I love sex. I love sex. I love sex.”
